San Cristobal is the easternmost island of the archipelago and one of the oldest geologically, where Charles Darwin first set foot on the Galapagos. During your stay here, you will enjoy:

– Snorkeling at Playa Mann and Puerto Chino: Experience firsthand the incredible marine life of the islands in these crystal-clear water beaches.
– Sea lion observation at La Lobería: A white sand beach where a large colony of sea lions lives. Ideal for snorkeling and observing these charismatic animals in their natural habitat.
– Cerro Tijeretas (Frigate Bird Hill): A spectacular viewpoint where you can observe the emblematic frigate birds nesting and enjoy panoramic views of the bay.
– Visit to the Interpretation Center: Learn about the natural and human history of the islands at this educational center.
– Excursion to the Natural Galapaguera: A sanctuary where you can observe giant tortoises in their natural environment, without barriers or restrictions.

Explore Santa Cruz (8 days / 7 nights)
After your experience in San Cristobal, you will travel to Santa Cruz, the most populated island and the tourist center of Galapagos, offering a perfect combination of nature and amenities:
– Charles Darwin Research Station: Research center where you can learn about conservation programs and see up close the giant tortoises, including the famous “Lonesome George” (preserved).
– Tortuga Bay Beach: One of the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago, with white sand and crystal-clear waters. It is home to marine iguanas, turtles, and a variety of birds.
– Los Gemelos (Twin Craters): Two huge craters formed by the collapse of magmatic chambers, surrounded by a scalesia forest, creating a unique landscape.
– El Chato Tortoise Reserve: Protected area where giant tortoises roam freely. You can also explore lava tunnels formed thousands of years ago.
– Las Grietas: A series of natural pools between two lava walls, ideal for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.
