Has become a top tourism destination for conservation minded visitors. Just before the COVID pandemic, in 2018, the total number of tourists came close to 300K per year, a significant challenge for a destination with a total population of around 40K. In 2024, the National Park Entry Fee for international visitors was doubled: data will be  forthcoming for the impact on numbers of visitors from abroad. Beyond Chacay Foundation, with the recently constituted GRECO intranet network is positioned, in collaboration with leading local stakeholders (the National Park, the Governing Council, the mayors of the three populated islands, and the school to prepare a cohort of savvy Intranet users focused on promoting local opportunities for entrepreneurs by introducing them directly to consumers  (tourists). By the end of 2025, we  intend to position GRECO as a leading resources for sustainable community development on the four populated islands!
